Update on Potential Prostate Cancer Treatement

On September 18, 2019 I had an MRI that found two suspicious loci in my prostate, one of which was diagnosed as likely stage 1 Prostate cancer and the other as transitional, I chose to try an underground approach shown to be selective at killing cancer cells via 4 different pathways:

1. It attacks the Microtubule skeleton of cancer cells, preventing them from dividing and from eliminating their own metabolic waste
2. It impedes them from up-taking glucose, starving them to death
3. It increases the activity of our Natural killer Cells in the presence of a masking chemical cancer cells produce to hide from our immune system
4. It blocks the formation of new blood vessels cancer needs to feed their rapid growth

The substance used is Fenbendazole, commonly used as a canine de-wormer, available at most pet stores. I decided to use a 2 gram dose on three (M-T-W) out of seven days per week, and I managed to use this around 45 out of 52 weeks for the time between MRIs. The first indicator of positive outcome was that my PSA dropped from 6.1 to 3.4 three months after my last test that kicked off the need for an MRI.

On November 11, 2020 I had a repeat MRI, hoping to see improvement. I was pleased to see that there was only one lesion of interest detected, and it was diagnosed as being well circumscribed and likely benign. My conclusion is that Fenbendazole works pretty well for something costing about $10/week and can at least slow the growth of prostate cancer, if not reverse it.

I am proceeding to use Fenbendazole for the future, but every-other week rather than weekly. I will update the progress in the near future.
